Our dogs are part of the family. On our large, secluded farm about 20 minutes behind Kostrzyn - close to the border and yet already in Poland - our Great Danes have enough space to run around, to play, but also to withdraw.
We were enthusiastic about the farm and the location, where you can find peace and quiet, and so we decided to establish a second residence next to our home in Brandenburg. However, we still hardly speak a word of Polish and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. So if you are looking for Polish culture, you have come to the wrong place, we are still Brandenburgers. ;-)
In bad weather and at night, our Great Danes can go to the cozy house, where they can snore in front of the fireplace, especially in winter.
In addition, and above all mentally, our dogs are used to capacity and thus balanced with dog sports.
While agility does not belong in a great danes program, our dogs have "discovered" subordination and protection for themselves.
breed
Our puppies receive a pedigree from the IDR e.V. (German Club) , which has almost the same demands on the dogs as the FCI , for which we are very grateful.
Our parent animals have FCI papers. Alrun von Thors Reich is registered in the DDC. Schmuckstück's Humphrey has excellent papers from the Polish ZkwP Kennel.
All puppies are examined / accepted by the veterinarian and the breed warden and receive a pedigree from the International Association for Pedigree Dogs
Our dogs are fed nutritious and varied. We swear by Bozita and are very satisfied with it, there is also sheep or horse and fruit and vegetables are also on the menu.
On our huge, secluded property, our dogs can simply be dogs and are balanced and satisfied.
We do not believe in pure kennel keeping. Dogs belong to the family and not to prison with free access. ;-)
We care about naturally healthy dogs. In the case of ailments that occur very rarely, we sometimes do not resort to the chemical club straight away, but rely on natural means, of course if it is harmless and still possible.
From a veterinary point of view, we and our dogs are in very good and competent hands in the not far away veterinary clinic.
Puppies
Our animals are very important to us.
When choosing the new home for our puppies, we therefore make sure that the little ones move into a dane-friendly home with a love for animals and a brain and have a place for their entire life.
Granted, we look very carefully, but that shouldn't bother anyone who has nothing to hide. ;-)
We would like a house with a garden or something similar for our babies. We refuse to hand them over to kennels or small city apartments without any green.
Something can always happen, which is why a dog has to leave a family anyway. Our dogs should not become a challenge cup.
The new owners therefore always have the opportunity to bring the dog back to us. A transfer to third parties is also prohibited in the sales contract.
In principle, our puppies are allowed to move to their new home from the age of 8 weeks.
However, it often happens that the new family lives in another country. That is why we are always well informed about current travel regulations and are happy to advise and support you on request.
Please inform yourself independently about the regulations that apply to you individually if you want to purchase a puppy from us.
Exhibitions
We are not show hunters and on the other hand we want our dogs to be dogs.
That's why there won't be a long list of show successes in the near future.
But of course it is important to us to introduce our dogs here and there and to have them judged.
We limit ourselves to Poland, Germany and possibly Austria.
Due to the omnipresent corona pandemic, it is well known that exhibitions have been very quiet since 2020.
But we hope that this will slowly change again and that there will be a few suitable exhibitions for us in 2021, where we can present our Danes.
